My husband and I are traveling to the Hot Springs this week and we are not sure if we should take the bus or a taxi. Which is easier/better with a 6 month old? I'm thinking that a taxi is about 100 Yuan and I've heard a bus is cheaper but will the bus take us straight to the hot springs or will we have to get a taxi from the bus station in Anning? Also what is a good hotel there? We want a nicer hotel.
I don't have an answer, but be aware that Anning hot springs are not in Anning city, but about 20 minutes drive outside the city.
I am guessing you would need to change bus, but there should be busses to the hot spring resort from Anning. But these are just assumptions.

There's actually a direct bus every hour to the hot spring area from the xiaoximen bus stop. 8 yuan.
Just keep in mind that this is Golden Week and all those places will be packed. Not the best time to go there, especially for your first time. Take a bus to Anning for 8 yuan and then take a taxi. Make sure the taxi uses the meter and it will only cost 15-18 yuan. Without a meter they will charge you 30-50 yuan.
