Yunnan goat cheese?

Tommann is right, everyone else is nuts. It's bloody everywhere. Just ask for 'rubing' in a market and they'll show you which stall has it.

the cheese is a bit bland and rubbery. nothing like proper goat cheese back home. so i won't get too worked up about trying to hunt it down.

@yankee, nope, I'm talking about consuming stuff labeled 乳饼 on menus as well as ordering it by name from the ladies at different markets.

I don't doubt the most authentic variety is made of goat cheese (the bai-language word for rubing contains the word for goat), simply that what you typically get at restaurants and markets is made from cow milk, which is cheaper and more readily available.
