I'd really like to come along to your camping meeting, and hopefully camp! But I don't speak much Chinese and want to check that that's ok - I've only been learning for a couple of weeks. What kind of place does the club normally go camping?

I'd also be interested in going, I might go to the meeting this Thursday or the one after the October holiday. It would be good know what week you are planning on going and maybe we can go together. I have very little experience in camping, but its always fun.

Hi everyone, I met one of the organiser about a week ago when they had an outing at the back of Jindian金殿。。which we do each week hiking for about 5 to 6 hours. Had chat with the guy, yes it is an interesting club with weekly events and big outings during the National Holidays. They have done many trips, I was told to places like Tiger Leaping Gorge, Snow Mountains etc. They are a local club with hardly any foreigners but they said they will welcome foreigners....I think it is a great way to socialize with the locals. We hike with a local almost every Saturday at the back of 金殿， there are many routes there and 金殿 is easily accessible by buses and after that we take local vans to the various starting points depending on where we want to go each week. If anyone is interested please email me at tacksoon@gmail.com and we can take this further.

I can translate the next event hold after Oct. 1. So if anyone interested in it, he can join.

It sounds like a really good club! I'm going away next week for the October Holiday so I'll be going on the 6th October. If anyone ends up going before then, let me know what it's like :) if not then it would be great to go with some people so let me know.
