I don't think anyone is saying they are special! Is teaching not a "special" skill, anyways? and how are they cheap!? Wanting a good salary does not a cheap man make!

What the hell's going on ? :too many losers came to china (maybe not all of them), no special skills, wanna be paid well, but they have no telent or anything, anyone speak mother ton can be a english teacher, they are bunch of... I don't wanna say losers... maybe be bunch of loser english teachers?

They expect the school pay their frigging apartment and everything, they wearing cheap, smelly, hippy clothes, but they wanna be decent in class, they want to hook up with some girl for a good night in some place, but if that place is classy level they won't go, or they'll "forget" to bring their wallets.they wanna sit somewhere has free wifi, order something cheap that let's them sit there all day and suck up other people's bandwidth.while posting to their blogs how wonderful they are to be sharing their amazing English talents with these poor uneducated Chinese.
They complain about how expensive KM is... or how crappy it is. How about u go live somewhere else? Or, go get a REAL job and make some real money!
those people they have lived in the different places in china,that makes them

judgemental,food,weather,prices,woman,blahblah
are u a super teacher?no.are u a super foreigner?no!u are special cuz u not chinese or u have different color of skin ?no!oh i see,u like everything for free!good for u cuz we all the same!how about u teach english for free?no!cuz in the end u might even have no money for a ticket to go home!!!

The moment somebody comes up with "LoserEnglishTeacher.com", all these guys are out of a job!!! thank glob!!!!

In a free market economy every person should aim to get the best price/wage they can for their goods/services/labor.
Every customer/employer should to pay the lowest price/wage they can for good/services/labor.

If the man next to you gets more money, he obviously has more bargaining power, or is more saleable. No point crying about it.

@castrated local boy.
If you are at the bottom of the food chain and being paid low, suggest you stop cryining and take your own advice. Go get some more skills.
I know Chinese salaried employees (not Laoban) in Kunming who earn nearly 200k/month.

@blobbles
I can also see how some employers come to the same equation and get an answer of 100/hr. We both know the equation they used is flawed.

Additionally, the employers and potential employees should not equate hourly paid work with full time employment. With hourly paid part time work the employee takes a lot of the financial risk, for example if the school cannot recruit students. If the school fails to recruit, that is a management problem. If they lay off the teachers, or give them less hours, the consequences fall on the staff. With a full time job, that risk is substantially reduced.

As potential employees we should never forget that. The risk should be factored in when we make a decission.

@castrati
So why such bitter postings?
This suggests deep insecurity.
Or trolling.

Low pay = red flags.
Either a chiseling employer, or one with cash flow problems, or both.
All of them red flags.
