I see lots of chinese people with nice-looking tattoos, and I'm considering getting one myself, as it's almost (or completely, due to guanxi) free here, compared to the thousands of kuai it'd cost me in Sweden. I have a design prepared, and a tattooist that a friend has vouched for.
Do I dare? Are there any drawbacks to getting a tattoo here, as opposed to in Europe? I've heard somewhere that the inks has worse quality, would this be true?
In Bali, a couple years ago. a few people got aids from unclean situations! I have heard nightmare stories about Thailand as well. To be fair i don't know much about Chinese tattoo practice. I do know a couple guys that have had work done in china(it looked ok to me, if a little generic) ....I guess it comes down to your comfort! If your asking opinions, Spend the extra cash and have your piece of mind.
I've got three tattoos in China. Two for free, one I paid for. The designs are good and the needles they used were opened in front of me. I didn't get HIV... I had my medical recently!

The needles may have been new, but what about the ink?
Theres a girl in town that does really good tattoos. I could give you her information if you are interested. She speaks English if needed.
What is the girls information
Hey, I know this an old post but Im wondering what that girls information is as well. Im looking to get a tattoo done here but it needs to be very well done and hygienic. I have no idea where to look.
