i've already checked drug stores, music shops and sport shops...they don't stock earplugs. any suggestion?

I searched for ear plugs at drug stores for several kilometers along Beijing Lu. Nothing. A wad of medical cotton was suggested as an alternative....

i saw them at walmart xiao xi men, they came with eye covers/shades. they were on a rack in the aisle near the wall next to the auto accessories section.

I've just found them at Qian Ju Jie (钱局街), close to Cui HU. It's small shop with scissors, needles, hangers...close to big shop with socks and undergarments. Ask about Jian Kang San Bao (健康三宝 They use old character for 'bao' but I don't have it so I put simplified one). It's a package with travelling pillow, blinder and earplugs.

try any shop selling 劳保用品.

I just purchased 22 pair disposable earplugs from a taobao seller in Shanghai, at 2rmb each plus 6-10 postage, depending on how fast you need them. No Yunnan taobao earplug sellers listed.
