Has anyone seen molasses and/or treacle in Kunming?

No. I've been using a substitute of 3/4 cup of brown sugar dissolved in 1/4 cup of hot water. It worked.

I did see molasses listed on one of the on-line grocery networks, but it was out of stock!

Paul's and American Market usually have molasses. I'm not sure about treacle, but taobao is always a good option as you can get the best price.

I'm not familiar with either of these shops. Where are they located?
