Forgot to add, I rode by the Beer Lao brewery in Vientiane. They had fields of their own barley and maybe hops growing right outside of it. And such a wonderful aroma coming from the brewery itself. Sadly no tours. Beer Lao isn't owned by some mega spirits drink conglomerate. Another + in my book.
Yesterday evening, my girlfriend surprised me with a case of blonde Lao cans that she bought it from Taobao. I've never had the can before, so I'll see how it tastes later in the day. Seller is up somewhere on Xuefu Lu.

the have a storage facility in kmg. before i had a connection there. he was selling for 2kuai/bottle and can, less than the shop price. I.ll try to contact him if i still have his number.
That sounds nice. Keep us updated. I'll gladly buy a few
Moondog has big bottles of beer Lao .2 times bigger than the small one and only 30 kuai
