@HFCAMPO
My apologies, second time reading my post it indeed, sounds a bit harsh. But you can't deny that your judgment on others are sometimes a bit, how to say "from an elevated position" as if you would be more aware than others or if you have better solutions,...
Especially since the action of judging, assumes,- that you are in a position to judge.
you are getting my drift, ...i assume.
I really don't or didn't mean to insult you.
I didn't notice the thread about american football, maybe coz I have absolutely no interest in american football.
But please HFCAMPO please don't see those" brainwashed & retarded" people so black and white.
I know many people that enjoy those major events, not for the crazy statistics, the best player of the year, latest gossip, etc.
But they are very aware of all those facts, as well as they are very smart. but they use those events to switch off, from all the terror warnings, climate change, political BS that is going on, worldwide. They actually have a chance for a few days or weeks [olympics, world cup...etc.] to see two rivals or the whole world, even two sworn enemies competing in a fair, and athletic competition, without killing each other.
What is so bad about that? Those event s all have a split tails, lots of business and merchandise. But also a lot of positive things going for them.
you don't have to sit in the stadium eating a 15$ hotdog to enjoy an event[s] like this.

....and the best is "to live on your feet!"
