I'm afraid there is little chance of the bf signing anything and even if he did it would make no difference. He has 2 children with his current wife and wouldn't be allowed to have more without the 2nd marriage documentation.

Believe me I am not going to get involved in a legal stoush. I am simply trying to act as an impartial and honest middleman.

The woman in question is a long term friend to my extended Chinese family, there may be more to the story than I'm being told, but I believe the basic facts to be correct.
