I just bought a juicer and I am looking for some wheat grass I can grow in my window. Any ideas where I could find some. At the market everyone just laughed at me when I asked for it (小麦草)

I believe wheat grass is a pest species, and not harvested.
If it is what I think it is, it springs up on other patches of grass and between bricks in pathways and at the roadside. This would make it free, but seasonal, and you would have to pick it yourself. It is easy to recognise as it is light in colour, about 12-18" tall and the heads look like an ear of wheat.
Avoid taking from the roadside due to pollution from vehicle exhausts.
