I am newly arrived here and I was wondering a couple of things, firstly does anyone know of some good intermediate Hip Hop or Modern/Contemporary dance classes?
Secondly I'd love to meet more like minded people, so if you're dancey/arty/creative/ linguistic/martial arty/badmintony or just damn right lovely I'd love to meet you!

There are several dance schools and dance groups around Kunming. Depending on the style that you prefer and your level of dance, you should be able to find one that fits you. The Dangsters are probably the most popular group in town and they have a dance studio near Xiaoximen, also there is a 3D dance studio near Kundu, and a few others. I don't know the exact addresses, but most danceers for those studios also work in clubs around Kundu. Maybe you can ask one of the dancers n the clubs. Sorry that i can't be more help.
