We're new to Kunming and starting to remodel apartmnt. Have heard good things about B&Q. Where is it located?

Also any recommendations for a good satellite TV dish installer/

B & Q is located in NE Kunming at the intersection of the 3rd Ring Rd and Shibo Lu (the road that leads to the Hosticultural Expo Gardens). B & Q is very reminiscent of Home Depot and Lowe's in the US. Items are clearly marked and priced. Everything can be delivered/installed. They also accept Visa/MC credit cards. Be sure and sign up for a B & Q discount card if you are planning on making significant purchases for your remodel.

The down side of B & Q is that even with the discount, the prices are on the high side for almost everything. If you shop wisely, have Chinese language skills, and make some good connections, you can save 20-30% off of B & Q prices by going to places like Luoshiwan wholesale market (S Central Kunming at the corner of Huancheng Nan Lu and Nanba Lu).
