Hey guys, Im looking for a college style mattress pad to on top of a rather uncomfortable mattress where I am living. Do you think kunming has any? I was able to find one in Beijing pretty easily- its your basic 1 inch thick temper-pedic foam material (but obviously not that nice of quality) that just sits right on top of your mattress? Any help greatly appreciated!!

Try Metro, they have had them in the past.
Also Carrefour in other cities have them. So maybe here as well.
Hove you tried the big supermarkets, like Wal-mart, Home-mart, and Lotus?

there's a place that sells foam on 滇缅大道. we bought a roughly 2inch+ thick foam mattress pad for around 300rmb (for a 1.2x2 bed).
if you head north on 西园路, go all the way up the hill until you reach the T at the intersection and make a right onto 滇缅大道, the shop shouldn't be far from there. it'll be on your right.
We have also heard there is someone that sells memory foam. Does anyone know where to go for that?
I personally prefer waterproof mattresses cuz it prevents ur bed from beverage spill and protects ur bed from ugly stains. Rest care waterproof mattress is great for kids and as compared to other brands it gives you a high level of protection..!!
You can get them at any Wal-Mart or Carrefour supermarket in Kunming.
