Hi everyone, I'm trying to buy an e-book reader from Taobao, but I don't read Chinese (yet... let's be optimistic) so I'm humbly asking for your help, if you have a minute or two to answer a few questions it would be great.
After spending some time on google trad I think the characters below mean I have a choice between "new factory fresh product" on the left and "refurbished or used product" on the right. Can you confirm this?
颜色分类 : 全新包关税 / 官翻包关税
套餐类型 : 官方标配 (tickbox) : for this I don't have a clue, if I tick it, it gets more expensive, wild guess : you get to choose how well they wrap it up?
快递: 12,0 元 EMS: 30,0 元 : I'm pretty sure this is to pick the type of postal service I want, only thing : I don't really know what the difference is... is it really faster with EMS?
Thanks a lot for reading!
oh and if it helps, here's the original page :
item.taobao.com/item.htm?id=13584883199&_u=3nng21f80b4#
you got that right, 全新包关税 / 官翻包关税 first one is fresh product and second one is refurbished.
官方标配 this one here you don't really get to choose, it is ticked with only one option, and it means standard package.
about the postal simply the cheaper one is a different shipping service and EMS is more official by china post, both are safe from my past experience, and EMS is not really faster.
Cheers somewhere, that's great!
so for : 官方标配 it doens't make any difference if I tick the box or not?
seems weird that there should be a tickbox in the first place....
just try if you could tick or untick that box then you will see.
you should worry about the paying and getting it, would be great if you have friend know how to do this to help you out, it's just trouble since you don't read chinese yet.
Well it doesn't affect the price anyway, so I'll just let it ticked and see what happens.
Actually my girlfriend can read Chinese, but not the kind of words like "refurbished" so i'm sure we'll manage (plus there quite a lot of websites that provide help on the checkout processs)
So hopefully everything will be fine from now on...
thanks again
I don't really get what's that 0.80 Yuan thing you can tick during the checkout process. Something about returning the merchandise or shipping cost insurance or something. Any ideas?
I am in Swindon books, kowloon HK at the moment, they have brand new Kobo touches for 1400 HKD if anyone's interested...
