I heard there's this festival in Qujing called Sanyuesan but I can't find much info about it on the internet. Anyone know anything about it, like where it is held, how to get there, and the dates?

it will be on April 8th (lunar calendar march 3rd) at luoping, qujing, yunnan. it is a festival for young people to sing songs and find their lovers. will be interesting.

布依风情古朴浓郁，神秘诱人。传统节日除了春节、端午节、中秋节外，还有二月二、祭老人房、三月三、尝新节等，最隆重的节日是农历二月二、三月三。

每年农历二月二，九龙河附近的布依、水、壮、彝各族青年盛装聚此，对歌择偶，别具风格的兵器舞、狮子舞、高跷舞、野毛人舞异彩纷呈；而"三月三"节则是多依河沿岸布依族人民最隆重的节日，节日期间喜庆活动更为丰富多彩，别具一格。届时，滇、黔、桂三省区各族群众汇集于此，对歌求偶，场面颇为壮观。

三月三布依语称之为"根三碗"，按照习俗，从农历三月初三起，休息三天，这几天布依姑娘就会做出五色花米饭，然后成群结队来到多依河边同伙伴们对山歌。这一天，村子里还要杀鸡宰羊祭祀山神和水神，以求风调雨顺，国泰民安。男女初次对歌，一般都是集体对唱。姑娘一开始常常会试探，她们唱道："妹拿花碗丢上天，花碗落在海中间。有心有意捡花碗，无心你莫海边玩。"如果男女两方有意，便约定时间、地点单独对唱。到了这个时候，也许小伙子就会唱道："花连树来树连根，钥匙连锁锁连门，钥匙只连一把锁，小哥只连妹一人"。而姑娘就会巧妙地表白："妹家门前一棵挑，十人过路九人摇，别人过路摇不动，小郎一到自会摇"。在布依山寨里，许多未婚的青年男女，就是通过对歌相识相恋，最后一订终身。
