Does anyone know if Chabad is coming to Kunming for Rosh Hashanah?
I am not religious but I enjoy sharing the Rosh Hashanah festivities with others.

Eve of Rosh Hashana this year is on September 28th.

Not only Chabad will come, but starting from then, they will completely settle in Kunming and offer regular services.

Thru Shai, I got the email of the rabbi who I assume is involved in organizing the Kunming Chabad. I emailed 9/8 and again 9/15 and never got a reply. Rosh Hashanah is less than 1 week away and still no word from Chabad.

The service will start a 6:30 tomorrow night (Wednesday)。 Morning service will start at 10:00 on Thursday, with blowing of the shofar.

Is someone whose not jewish can participate? or this is a jewish only thing?
Because before Israel and Menucha came to town, jewish holidays were celebrated with a lot of non-jewish friends. I'm just wondering if the party is over?

Raznik, not all festivals are "festive". New Year celebration mostly consists in a religious service and a "family dinner", much different from the other festivals you might have attended with both Jews and non-Jews, like Hannuka, Purim, Mimouna, etc.
