Guys, a "UP" and "DOWN" can be found on the two doors of buses in Kunming. I think "Entry' and "EXIT" may be better. Have you ever seen such signs on the doors of buses outside China? And could anyone tell me what are the signs on the doors of buses you have seen.

Obviously you don't speak Chinese....;-)

The vernacular translations of Shang and Xia include.
'On' (as in get up on the bus/horse) and 'Off' (get down off the bus/horse)
Before (Shang as in last week/month)
Next/after (Xia as in next week/month)
Above/before (as in see above). Below/after (as in see below).

There are confusing signs in any language. E.G. Do not alight here. Mind the gap (Why? What will it do?)

Just curious. Chinglish causes much confusion

Some of the buses do have "Entry" and "Exit". In Toronto none of the buses have signs.
