Anyone has info (address & phone number) on where I can buy a dozen new, clean & sturdy corrugated boxes. Ideal box volume is about 3.5 cu. ft. (roughly .10 cu. meter?) for easy handling.

I wouldn't mind knowing the answer to this one either. In the past I sent a lot of parcels by mail, and all of the Chinese cardboard boxes I bought turned into a pile of mush by the time they reached their destination.

just moved and bought large boxes (very sturdy) from the international post office at the corner of 121 dajie and jianshe lu. they had several size boxes, were quite helpful and at least partially bilingual.

any post office will carry a selection of sturdy
cardboard corruscgatated boxes. 8-12 rmb or so
each.

if you shop around, you'll find some of the post
offices have a bander.....you know, that machine

that wraps a flat plastic band around the box and
ties off with a metal clip.
