Earlier this year paid 100RMB per hour for IELTS people. Now they are offering 200 rmb for 1.5 hours.

I have half a mind that the Kunming unis are wage fixing. None of the ones I have seen want to pay for flights, half want you to have your own visa, some won't provide accommodation.

One even offered me 1900 a month, and I am experienced. That was what I was offered for a proper contract. I think they wanted me on a Mickey Mouse contract as hourly pay was 100. They were keen to point out how much I could earn if I worked 30 hours a week.

so if 1 hour = 100 rmb, then 2 hours = 200 rmb.
i think i got it. now it gets complicated...

...at that rate, 1.5 hours = 150 rmb.

Ha! Ha!
Must not be a maths teacher.

But the comments about low KMG pay at universities is right. I worked at a tier three city before and Ts&Cs in contracts were much better.
