Hi. Im a acupuncturist living in Norway. Im planning to go to kunming in august, to study chinese language. Unfortnuate will my goverment not approve tax release in my study time, because its a new education and not a upgrade course.

I could really tried out working with my acupuncture in china. It would benefit my chinese speaking, and give me some extra money while im studying.

I am therefore seeking a chinese doctor, that will give me a job as an acupuncturist. My main topic is the chinese language, but i can work couple of hours a day or so. Is there anyone that knows about a acu-clinic? Or a doctor that want a colleague.

Dude - you need a license or need to come from an affiliated and or accredited school to practice TCM (Traditional Chinese Medicine) in China - you might be able to find a shady school or hospital that will hire you (doubtful) - but if you want legit work - unless your school is affiliated with a Chinese TCM school - you're out of luck.

It would be easier for you to teach English - or you might try looking for students interested in learning your native language (Norwegian?).

Alternatively - you can try to get sponsored by Norwegian firms (example IT firms) looking for international contracts in China. LOTS of projects here and SOME might even be open to hiring Norwegian multinational firms. Examples of opportunities:

1. IT
2. Heavy Construction
3. ANYTHING related to water - water purification, water treatment, waste treatment and disposal (sewage...ugh)
4. Environmental projects
5. Renewable energy projects (eg wind, solar, geothermal, nuclear, etc).
6. Agricultural
7. Banking
8. Insurance

List is infinite - if you have the initiative and innovation.

Thanks for you tip. But i need something that i can relate to my acupuncture buisness, so that i can have my tax benefit. The tax system in Norway is crazy you see. If i sucseed to get a document that says that im in china for acu buisness, i will save about 13000 dollars for one year.

I have also chinese papers that tells that i can practice acupuncture. And it would bee very nice to not give up my knowledge for so long, while im in China. So if anyone knows about a clinic or doctor, please let me know.
