I am looking for a (preferably long-term) volunteering/ internship opportunity in Yunnan starting in September. I don't mind where it is so long as it, but preferably in Kunming or somewhere near to a language school as I also want to take Mandarin lessons.

I am interested in microbusiness and microfinance, agricultural and community development and women's development projects. I am not really so interested in voluntary English-teaching opportunities.

It's not near Kunming, but you could look into ETTI (Eastern Tibet Training Institute) up in Shangri-la. The Kham-Aid website also points to a handicraft organization that likes volunteers.

I imagine you would be able to find a Mandarin tutor somewhere up there, but winter sucks.

I up this post because I am also looking for an internship in Yunnan.

After a year as an exchange student at the Yunnan University of Finance and Economics and 3 months of work experience as a trainer for the sales force of a Citroen DS reseller in Kunming, I am currently in the final year of the Master program of the Montpellier(France) Business school

I also had many professional experiences in France, the most important being my experiences as an intern sales representative for Dell and as a Field Manager for a field marketing company.

I am looking for a 9 months(minimum) internship, starting in January 2014, in the supply chain or international trade sectors. I am of course open to any good opportunities in other sectors.

I speak French and English fluently and can speak mandarin Chinese at an intermediate level.
