Thai Airways is running a 2 for 1 promotional ticket sale right now, good for all Thai destinations. I think the prices might be rather cheap now considering we're entering monsoon season and all the chaos in Bangkok. Check out the Thai Airways office 1 block north (before) the train station.
I went to Thai Airlines near the train station this morning and guess what? THERE ARE NO THAI AIRLINE PROMOTIONAL TICKET SALES OF ANY KIND AT THIS TIME. So this information above is not correct.
