I was thinking about buy a new bigger Ebike but I'm hearing from many that rules have changed, apparently now
you cannot get a license plate from the police if your ebike is not ''new'' or if it's too big, those are only given to tiny ebikes now.
Does anyone have more info on that? Is it true?
Yes, it's unfortunately true. You can actually buy a new bike, but it has to meet strict speed and size requirements that make it very underpowered and disappointing. The big bikes are simply not allowed.
Hi Spartans,
There is a vehicle exhibition to be held in Kunming International Convention & Exhibition Center (Chuncheng Road 289) from Aug 29th - 31th. There are new standard ebikes (<25km/h, <55kg) that can gain license, no need of tests. The big one with high speed type
are now considered as e-motorcycle. You need to pass few tests to gain such license. My wechat 008613917018494
My ebike is a bare frame, wheels, motor, and has no bodywork or saddle, because I am Spartan.
@tiger
Does that mean then that your ebike has a "theft avoidance appearance"?
"theft avoidance appearance",
Half of Kunmings e-bikes look like this ;-)
What's an Arthenian? Just Askeying.
