My wife told me yesterday that they will soon terminate this bus service since the subway can take you to the airport terminals.

I hope they don't terminate every route.

I live right at the starting point for the 919E (north station) and it takes an hour to the airport.

The 6:00 a.m. bus is only 40 minutes.

Taking the subway needs about 30 minutes just to get down to line 3, then probably an hour out from there.

These buses also service the offices around the airport, which are a long way from the subway.

They are probably losing money with these buses. Oh well.

@Giggi, It looks like the line 3 that you mentioned runs from Beichen.

That means I have to get down there first.

It's still not good enough to get to the airport for an early flight.

919E is right at my door, the other bus service is not.

I can understand that for those people living in the south or west that the subway may be fine, but it's not for those of us in the north.

Will be a sad day. We also live in the North and the bus stops really close to where we live.

I will not be taking the subway to the airport.

I would have been willing to pay a higher fee on the 919E, but it looks like it will be taxi from now on.
