What you’d end up paying for a degree in mandarin isn’t it? A degree sounds the better option thinking with them costs. Then again some aren’t looking to be too coherent, just enough to get by.
For a long, long ,long time the price was 100 yuan.
Two to three years ago
it went to 150 yuan and now the lowest price point should be 200 yuan.That's my observation in the 12 years here I've been here.

I wanted to know the price for a Chinese one on one teacher. I guess around 75rmb is the common rate without using a school as a third party.

I donn't know about prices, Elias, but I've heard all good things about the 1-on-1 for learning Chinese as Keats, and my experience several years ago there in a small class is that the teachers there know what they're doing, which may not be the case if you find someone randomly. You might check them out.
