I got my iPhone camera fixed (still not sure if it was a hardware or software problem) at the Apple store (close to Nanping Jie). Quick fix and no problems since. I personally wouldn’t feel comfortable having it fixed other than at Apple authorized stores.

Thanks DrJK. Apple said beyond economic repair and just wanted to sell me a new phone.

@Michael, big thanks. I found the shop on the food street. They repaired my phone while I waited. Cost 300, which is much cheaper than a new iPhone.
