mehnyaa: Where in Walmart did you see the fish sauce? Have been looking for proper vietnamese fish sauce without any luck (have only seen chinese fish sauce, which is not the same thing).

(it occurs to me I also should have asked *which* Walmart?)

Pepto bismul - get it in pharmacy in Walmart near Green Lake

Bicarbonate of soda - sold everywhere in small packets as su da fen

Tahini - available in supermarkets, near peanut butter and rose jam

Lentils - we got some from Lijiang - send a message if you want some

Cocoa powder - got imported cocoa powder in bulk if interested

Anybody knows where to find 3x5 index cards? Or at least some decent heavy stock cards. I've checked all the stationary stores, the ones I'm able to find are too flimsy to make vocabulary flash cards for my students.

No luck with 3X5 cards. Buy a box of blank business cards and try them. A bit small but you can get some good quality cards. Look in shops that do name cards.

I know its hard to get big size clothes and shoes...
I have some from Dorothy Perkins and Marks and Spencer size 14- 16 new. All are new and am selling them. Some size 8 UK size shoes, sandals too...... i put on some pounds and can't fit anymore

Define affordable. I saw 4x6, 5x7 frames at wal-mart in the 15 yuan range. I've also recent custom made a tabloid sized frame for about 50 yuan.
