So, I promise I don't only care about food...but with Thanksgiving coming up, any hints on where I can find pumpkin pie filling? Or alternatively any bakeries/supermarkets that may, on the off chance, be selling pumpkin pies?

Try asking Wicker Basket. Your name suggests you only care about food, so don't deny it :)
Surely pumpkin pie filling is made from pumpkins? That would be my starting point.
There is sense in buying pie filling if you are only making one pie. Buying cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves, etc. only to throw most of them away, is a waste. It makes more sense to buy a pie, if you can find one.
Sure why not? Buy a pie filling and then invite people to taste your delicious home made pie.
Slice of Heaven!
@tiger
why would you throw away good cinnamon nutmeg and cloves? they're not only good for pumpkin pie :/
@AlexKMG @Darryl9905 thanks for the Wicker Basket suggestion-they make pumpkin pies, thankfully! Not having acess to a food processor renders making a pie totally from scratch a little more trouble than it's worth.
Good point about the food processor.
American Market (close to the north Wicker Basket) used to sell pumpkin pie filling, but I haven't been by there this year to see if they have it again.
