I'm back in beautiful LiJiang for the national holiday - been gone since mid-July. Now I notice tons of large spiders and webs all over the trees, wires, etc. They must have been feasting for some time as many of the webs are filled with dead bugs. Many of these spiders have long green stripes on their backs. Any arachnid buffs here to suggest a species name?
Golden Orb spider.
The man knows his spiders! Thanks Napoleon.
