Currently my family buys something like 2 kilos of cheese per month. We almost exclusively buy from Taobao these days because neither Metro nor Carrefour have reliable supplies.

I was hoping that the Carrefour online store would have a broader range than the typical in-store selection, which has definitely shrunk over the years.

Alas, nothing French and edible. Nothing in non-consumer sizes. Everything overpriced. Only the worst brands of tasteless pretend European cheeses, from exotic locales such as Japan and the least reputable backblocks of Ireland, for uncompetitive prices. You'd think they'd pass on some of the volume savings to their customers, but apparently not. Shame on you Carrefour!

Francophones should petition the French consulate to uphold better standards...

There is a French company in Shanghai who deliver country wide called Cheese Republic. Look them up on We Chat. French, and recently Italian cheeses at reasonable prices. Combination platters available.

turns out, it's not available in Wuhua district so i couldn't find it, then i could find it in Xishan district: www.carrefour.cn/product/250022155 (beware, if you already visited the carrefour website and choose another district, that link won't work!)

Well I shop Aegean or Nanya in Xishan district so maybe I should've mentioned that in the other thread ;o)

I'm still waiting for someone to say they have so I know it's just my stupidness rather than the sites.

Yes I could register my address, got my first delivery today. Not on schedule though. Shunfeng Kuaidi is handling the delivery.

Yes both website and app are pretty buggy... but better than nothing.
