Your overall China/Kunming experience?

@OHW
If you feel so much better, and more justified, if I would be miserable, because I don't share your idea about China, alright...whatever.

Yes, oh my OHW, I can't stand it anymore, everyday I stand on the roof of our 1 storey apartment, ready to jump with the hoop around my neck and the bb gun at my temple, it just doesn't make sense anymore. I hate everything, myself the world most definitely China and worst of all I even hate mixian....I had it....Good by see you 10 feet down there in the front lawn...

Is that better? Yes I am so miserable,....aaaargh.

I hope that fixes all your problems.

Yes, but complaining and focusing on negative things undermines your own psychological well-being, so maybe you can think about how much complaining is useful and how much is just wasted energy.

Some things may never change here. Not in our lifetime anyway.

For me, I've decided that employers will never change and I'm not going to waste too much energy complaining, but rather extricate myself from working for Chinese employers for once and for all.

No, I AM definitely right.
I think everyone on the forum knows your stance on most issues. Maybe you can refrain from re-hashing them over and over unless you encounter someone new on the forum? Otherwise, it's mental illness. You don't like the mixian. Point taken.

Dudeson's alright. I remember he once said he wants to leave China but has commitments. I wish him well when he eventually does leave but, wherever he goes, something inside me tells me that he will be moaning about the quality of his cornflakes in the morning

It's mental illness, if you re-ask your questions over and over and expect a different outcome [answer].
...so just that you feel better, all violence will stop. Or beating up foreigners is not happening....You are cute to think that.

You are accusing me for the same thing you do, what about mental illness there? Aren't you over and over talk about the same "My little pony" version of China. Some milk and cookies with it. sitting on a sofa made of cotton candy....aaaaah...so nice

You are projecting an unrealistic picture of a place, country and culture, so that you can justify your existence here, what about mental illness there?

You pretend to know and understand a culture that, disagrees with you about everything, how about mental illness there?

@vicar
Not a fan of cereals, but no I am not picky with food. Never complained about food, also as I said, I don't mind the flavour, I only mind the [un]safe aspects of Chinese food, and the over-flavouring of it.

My in-laws, due to stomach problems [I wonder where the problems come from, alien probing, probably...I mean it can't be the food right?]...,-cook very healthy and plain, you can actually taste all the ingredients!

@vicar
At least nobody will spit, sh*t and p*ss around when I am eating my cornflakes, or trying to cheat me of my bowl, or try to beat the shit out of me, and even if, I will be able to see a real doctor, not someone giving me 5000RMB penguin-lips and tiger-beard to treat my black eyes and broken bones.
I can just smear sandwich ointment on my wounds.

So yeah better choice still.

So goldie is overall positive about China, one-hit too because he can get a job here; about laofengzi, vicar, nnoble, dazzer, Stephen, Alpage & redjon we don't know. Dudeson now says he loves China but hates Kunming but he's happy - but what part of China does he like? So only zhudan find China more negative than positive?
Suggest those who complain all the time (dudeson) stop setting up straw men (those who, they say, never see anything wrong with China & think it's all wonderful - I don't know anybody like that, foreign or Chinese) & tell us whether they're overall positive or overall negative, & if negative (like zhudan) why they stay - like I said, life's much too short.

@Alien
Really, I recommend to reread some previous posts, a lot of straw up there.

Yes Alien, I love China and I am very very happy here, but not because this is the culture I always dreamed about, nor because [all] people are so nice all the time.

I have an amazing group of friends, a lovely family, the weather is great, Chinese food is good, I can do the things I love. So yes i love it here and I am happy. Thanks for your concern.
But I will never say China is safe and people are so polite and helpful...etc.

P.s. I always said I like China, pleaaaaaaaaaase don't just use my words as you think they fit your purpose or opinion.

And actually I am not complaining I am just telling people what I experienced and the things I do about it. Maybe stop complaining about complaining.

Again, meet Chinese, talk to them and ridicule yourself, by telling them how great everything is, in this wonderland of miracles. I don't know anyone ever telling me the stuff colonist foreigners talk about.
