@Dazzer

Are you trying to insult me in Xhona?
Being a Byo Boy mine is only good enough to call you Putar.

I'm not a farmer you know, hate to disappoint you.

@ Dazzer: the street committees were created to mind the business of everybody, not just of foreigners. My example shows that they don't mind my business much.

Why would it not look like it? On the basis that we are all fluent Xhona speakers?

Dip your big nose in a book.

@Dazzer Shamwary

Back in Rhodesian days the X would make the correct sound and thus represent the Chi and S in the name for the language chiShona (uncapitalised opening letter) as the stupid curly thing on the S wasn't on typewriters and it was a more accurate sound when reading it for an anglophone. It was also used by the Portuguese in Moz. Nowadays with a Shona as head boy; they've standardised a few things in their own language and dropped the stupid curly thing, and use just the word Shona (Which just means one MaShona person, not the necessarily the language) with no whistling sound before it - as that was the dialect they used in their war propaganda.
