"Lying" in China, An Opinion

But we are not living in just any country in the world we are living in China. And most of those deals and loans we got burned on were done to try and help some one. One gets a a little cynical over time with the screw overs.

As far as her speed in repaying debts, I would say she is very slow, since it has been about, lemme see, five years now and we have not seen one single RMB from her. Is that considered slow in other countries?

Your question: yes.
I've lent money (pretty small amount) to a Chinese friend who was, and is, often broke. I didn't lend him more than I figured I could lose. He paid me back - late, yes, but asked me if he could wait awhile before doing so and I agreed. No lying involved.
