No bragging here.

I saw something that I knew to be fantasy and alerted it to you (using fact and references, that's how we work in the real world) all so you wouldn't make a further fool of yourself.

but.....

do you know who you remind me of.? that kid (obviously troubled) we had in class, always sitting in the front row. never raising his hand, never trying, never risking. Just waiting for the teacher, or other students to forget a letter, a number, or spelling error etc. and then pointing his finger laughing and shouting how stupid the kid in front of the class is for making a mistake.

he is selling carpets, i heard.

So I'm in the wrong for interrupting your rant?

My mistake.

You've bored me to sleep with your repetitive, predicable, nonsense.

Night.

There's just no reasoning with mental.
If you want to continue this discussion you're more than capable of doing it alone in your head.

again....you want to discredit me for all i have ever said and all will ever say. you should try harder just bowing out, is sad and it rather discredits your claim.

anyway if you such a coward, alright. answering a question, or getting more info scares you so much. taking you serious and respect your opinion seems to be a waste of time. i hope you can bragg to mr. sandman about your latest victory in a rigged game.

giid night my cowardly friend ...

As for the issue of the usage of the term laowai/waiguoren, I also have found back in Australia when I went to Chinatown, i heard Chinese people call me laowai - when I am in fact the local! And with some of my Chinese friends I said that since the word 'yangren' means someone who came from across the ocean, in Australia you Chinese guys are the 'yangren' - they were just totally confused, and said no, we've always learnt that yangren means people like you!
So i think those terms are not related at all to the country in which the speaker is currently located, they are not geographic terms but rather cultural.
So i thought perhaps it is like Jewish people and their term Gentile. Jewish people located anywhere in the world would call a non-Jewish person a Gentile.

So maybe both those ancient cultures have a word that means not just foreigner but more like outsider.

Saw a 3 piece punk band jamming down near Green Lake on the weekend, Just within hearing distance of the Chinese opera singer screaming out a tune with her big band, Won't see that anywhere else in the world.
Thought the punk sound was about as good as any punk I've heard actually.
