Hi everyone,
I have a 1 day layover in Kunming after a long Yunnan trek. I am looking for a place to recharge my batteries.
Does Kunming have any 24hr sauna's? The type that has hot/cold tubs, food and resting areas?
If not, anything similar?

Yes there are several. The one I have used I the past is on renmin xi lu.
There is the Happy Endong Boom Boom Spa. I highly recommend it.

I'd be careful of those 24hr saunas. I came out looking like a prune
Slightly related, does anyone know if some of these establishments have family friendly sauna? I mean a sauna where you can go privately together with wife and kids?
@Tom_G I pride myself on being the tallest midget in this small circus.
JanJal I have seen a couple of kids with their fathers in the one I mentioned above & it is never very busy. The sauna area is separated by gender but the large swimming pool, dinning and sleep areas are all communal. As a family I think it would be fine.
If you all want to get naked together then your best option would be "hot springs" just outside the city.
