We have a kid coming over next week and are wondering if the animal park in the north is open as usual.

I know the panda left and new one won't come until June perhaps.

I assume most of the other animals did not go back home for new year, but maybe staff did and are not taking visitors?

Does anyone have first hand information?

Went 2 days ago so yeah open :)

Beware I have never seen it so busy it's like all of Kunming was there during the holidays! So if you want a more relaxed time wait a bit :)

If it was "open" then the "wild animals" whould be gone, so no it is all fenced in.
