Paul's shop is back to business!

Chinese spring rolls aren't fake. It's just that their importance in Chinese cuisine is blown way out of proportion in Chinatown.

Lots of old-school Kunming restaurants serve spring rolls. In Guizhou, fresh (not fried) spring rolls are a big-time street snack.

Spring rolls are popular in Honkong.

The spring rolls in Xiamen are amazing. They are steamed, full of a variety of local seafood, and weigh at least 200g.

the vietnamese spring rolls she made were fried, but i think there may be steamed varieties as well in vietnam.

there was a Dai restaurant in kunming that had spring rolls...also fried.

maybe someone can update the thread with a review of the tacos at paul's.

It's always been a place where you can buy taco ingredients (and a bunch of other Western ingredients).

Now they also serve tacos.
