Probably this is a silly question, but has anyone seen stevia for sale in Kunming? It's a type of sweetener, in some countries you can buy it either refined in packets (like an artificial sweetener) or in ground up leaf form. Apparently it's used a lot in Japan. My Chinese dictionary calls it tian2 ju2.

is taobao just online? I don't think my Chinese is good enough to write my address for sending stuff and I don't have a Chinese credit card so I'm not sure if I can use it.

It's not available for sale at a store in Kunming. Other artificial sweeteners are, but stevia users aren't interested in those. Plenty of good affordable honey for sale here.
