Has anybody travelled from Kunming to Dali by bus recently? I heard some sections were being renovated and the bus ride was taking 6/7 hours at least. If you have any updates please share!

I drove both ways last weekend and the road is fine and free flowing without major road work.

Mid day to early evening is the busiest.

Dont worry. The roadworks have finished and the road is as smooth as a baby's bottom again.
