Sorry if this has been asked before:

If I have 90 day visa, what day do I have to leave the country, on the 90th day? Or can I stay the night of the 90th and leave on the 91st?

From my travel experiences, you would have to leave the country prior to your visa's expiration date. Meaning you must be out by mid-night on the 90th day. I've never cut it that close but suppose you were to leave on the 91st day, one of two things might happen. 1) The customs agent will give you a look and reprimand you for not leaving on time, or 2) In China, the penalty is a fine of up to 500 (or is it 2000, I don't remember) yuan per day you've over stayed with a possibility of being barred from entering the country ever again.

I wouldn't do it just to save myself the grief and hassle even if no fine were to be assessed.

for sure you have to leave in the 90th day not the 91st day.The fine is 500 per day and it's not good to be fined here .to have more informations about visa issues you can find many links in my blog
