I've tried to open reddit, but I also got redirected to wpkg, it even happened with vpn. Can anyone post here the reddit article?

Have you tried changing the vpn server to one in a different country? Sometimes when my vpn appears to be being toyed with, this works.

"In china right now, figured out the problem. Seems likely to me to be another Great Cannon. Any website that has a "facebook connect" button on it will redirect to wpkg.org. The reason being is that the Facebook Connect button uses "connect.facebook.net/en_US/sdk.js" Going to this from a China IP throws a HTTP 301 and redirects to "wpkg.org/my.js " instead of giving the correct javascript facebook SDK.

The "my.js" file has only one line which sets your browser to go to wpkg.org instead."

Solution:"Adding "wpkg.org/my.js" to Adblock Plus as mentioned in the other threads solved the problem. "

both ways editing the host file and ad block plus have not been successful

adblock hasn't solved the problem for me either. Where can I find the 'host file'? Is there a way to block the facebook thing that's responsible?

Adblock trick didn't work out, I'm still getting redirected

current solution open add block plus go to filters add connect.facebook.ne

this is a stopgap measure and may not last long

Edit, if you can load the video then then the fix worked

you could try nhl.com too it was blocked but this has fixed it for me

Using Adblock I've added all the domains/cookies/ Java Scripts listed above. It appears to be a working solution for now. The key appears to have been blocking connect.facebook.ne as Darkone said (thanks for that).

My Hotmail sign in page is now appearing in Chinese. Not a major problem but does anyone have a solution? I can't find the preferences!
