Parents should not have let this happen, especially with unrealistic goals to 'win back' an ex ... that girl will be physically and mentally scarred for life.
I think the doctors should be fined and penalize. If it's not a medical necessity like a 'deviate septum' they should not performs these surgeries. Parents should be heavily fined.
Whether it's physical scarring or not is perhaps a matter of opinion; mental scarring you can blame on the husband, perhaps.
Suggest such be made illegal for those under 18, and more than a fine for the parents or you'll get the obvious: fines for the rich are not the same punishment or, more importantly, deterrent as the same fine for the poor.
All I can say is I'M SO GLAD I"M NOT FROM THIS GENERATION!
