I found a shared apartment very close to the universities for 700 rmb all included a month through an agent.

700rmb isn't bad considering the location. How new and clean is it? And with how many people are you sharing?

@Yankee

Black tea, called red tea in China.
Most British brands of tea will be tea from India or Srilanka (Ceylon).
English Breakfast tea is the most common blend. This mostly consists of Assam and Ceylon tea.

@yankee
I wondered where you were going with this, but I indulged you.
If we follow this argument, there is no Chinese wine, coffee or Chinese beer. Maybe even no Chinese cars, TVs, mobile phones, computers, etc. It depends on what you mean.

The tea they drink in India comes from the same plants, but is a quite different brew.
The Indian population does not drink English breakfast tea.

BTW most tea in supermarket brands in the UK does not come from Asia. Tea is also grown in a lot of Africa, and South America.

Those can be made in China with raw materials from China. I was thinking airplanes. They originate from the West, are built in the West, then brought to China with a Chinese airline brand on them and are called Chinese planes.

This is my last post on this thread as we are hijacking.
If I buy meat, flour, fats, potatoes and water from China. I then bake a steak and kidney pie, and make mashed potatoes in China in a Chinese oven. Pie and mash is still an English dish.
If in UK, a British pig, with locally sourced ingredients, is turned into sweet and sour pork, it is still Chinese food.
My only point is, origins are purely contextual, there is no simple answer.

Almost EVERY SINGLE THREAD gets hijacked. So terrible.
