A employment fraud

Peter99 (1246 posts) • 0

Oh...I mean fake Marriot employment over here, fake Ferraris in Italy and fake snow in Canada. Even fake planets in universe soon.

This will be the new globalization: the globalization of Fake.

Yes, sadly, it's most likely a scam (fraud). Next, they will most likely ask you to send money to cover recruiting costs. If you still have doubts, then call the hotel directly, ask for the human resources department, and then explain your situation.

The contact number for the JW Marriott Grosvenor House is +44-20-74996363.

Don't let this discourage you from trying to work for the real Marriott. You can search for job openings at their website. However, it requires a vpn and the search is slow.

A British hotel would not have working hours of 7.00am to 9:55pm with break period of 2hrs hours only.

@AlexKMG well, thank you, Alex. I have searched the employment of British, and I found the huge competition, mental stress and high commodity price the Chinese suffered. Even the students graduated from the British university can't find a goof job there. Recent years, economic situation is very grim though the "rising GDP", high salary and good environment are still the dream of everyone.

It only works out at about £13 per hour, and you would be totally exhausted working 7 days a week early morning till late evening. They wouldn't need a marketer to work those kind of hours. In fact, Marriott probably contracts out its marketing to marketing companies, not random Chinese people who aren't fluent in English.

yes, it is true. I doubt my ability to this job too, but i am still better than the guy who deceive others, even the one is drama "fluent" in English but can't understand other's meaning

@Zhang Lijuan
Chances are they would give the job to someone who is fluent in English( even British English) unless you will be dealing with Chinese customers. My gut feeling is that this is a scam. If you are looking for a job in England my suggestion is to use a known agency(preferable dealing with Chinese nationals).
