@Neddy: In my opinion you also miss the point: nothing is going on here but words, and I think it's a problem that you want to take them as personal attacks which somehow hurt you so that you must defend yourself as a person. I think that, whether the words add up to something or not, you might do better to let them roll off - why do you feel threatened personally by them?

no offense but the thread wasn.t bout to last. since not many posters know much about NGO, including me.
and most things you can say about the change in law have been said, already.
everyrhing else about the NGO we will see in the future about the impact...etc.
and why would you think that a gokmg forum would be so different to any other forum. if you think this is going nuts then check any forum on any newspaper site. forums are opinions and at some point they are said and two basic opinions remain.
if this subject means so much, it may be better to bring it to an international or china NGO forum with and for NGO interested people.
everytime when a forum appears on go kunming that isn.t directly matching the scene it gets that way.
