Most gun violence are by non law abiding citizens.
People have been waiting for years to become citizens yet Obama is opening up the borders to all these illegals that have NO REGARD FOR THE LAW.
Passing more laws to 'force' you is not going to work. You need to first enforce the laws that are already there. Keep it simple.

Pass the law first and then read it is the new mantra.
