I think you need a basic physical a blood test for aids and some chest x rays that show your lungs are not shitty don't quote me on that but yeah 100rmb is to little 400 seems reasonable

If you go to the Entry-Exit Inspection and Quarantine, it should suffice and the price is fixed. As hospitals seem to charge about 100 RMB per test and you need multiple tests, and it can be higher, then it is perhaps the cheapest option. You also get a printed report and a government certificate.
If it is for work, then you probably need it for a work visa, if not now then when the PSB catch up with you. The requirement is for the test from the Entry-Exit Inspection and Quarantine.

You really need to ask where you work if it must be the official place where all foreigners get a health inspection (400 RMB) or any place will do. You also need to ask the purpose of this check-up as it is not common for a place to ask for this. You will find they say any place then when it comes to it they want the official one.

The Entry-Exit Inspection and Quarantine is located near the old airport. Bus 52 can get you in the vicinity, then walk 2 blocks.

The standard required medical health tests for visas, work permits and other normal government agencies for foreigner health requirement checks is at the entry and exit health testing center. It costs around 400rmb and takes a few hours to do usually.You need your passport and a few pictures. It is on the way to the old airport past the international trade center. On the subway its the stop past the FUDE station I think. It is sometimes hard for the taxi persons to find. Open 8:30 to 11:30 and 2:00 to 5:00. Phone numbers 0871-67161994 and 67180713. You have to go back in about week for the results with the receipt and a passport. Your employers will not give you any further requests as often they find out later you actually had to do these tests any way. If you have a medical condition that would not allow to live in China it could be found.
