Are there any Football clubs in Kunming my son (13) can play in?
Or a team he could join to play for fun?

We have seen the football field at Yunnan Normal University, are there any other football fields to play around in?

A few weeks ago, there was a mini-soccer field set up at the newish Bin Jiang Jun Yuan apartment blocks. It had placards for soccer school, the name of which I cannot remember at the moment, but I googled it back then and it pointed to Hong Kong origin.

There were a couple of foreigners instructing children there in afternoons. Most of the kids were younger than 13 though.

The field was there for a couple of weeks. I'm guessing that it moved somewhere else after that.

I'm pretty sure they were recruiting parents to send their children to soccer classes, and probably not to HK. So there must be some operation going in Kunming. If only I remembered that school's name now.

I was working for them when the pitch was still in Bin Jiang Jun Yuan. Now they have a big football centre up north with 3 pitches, resting area, wifi, tv, showers, etc. The place is quite nice. They have around 80 students and most of them are young but there is a group of around 7-9 years old who play very good.

The coach had a school in HK before and they moved here to Kunming. They have a coach diploma with HK's Manchester United coach school.

There was soccer played at #10 Middle School, Beijing Lu campus (Beichen). One of the students was a local talent.

My son took children's soccer at the Boyi Football club last semester. It is supposed to start up again but I don't know when exactly. The coach's name is Eduardo and phone# is 18725168171 but he hasn't replied to my text messages. He may not be back from vacation. It might start around April 1st but again I'm not positive.
