Abnormal things have become normal with time

I dunno, HFCampo-who-won't-respond-to-this-from-me; but 'normal' only means the general way of things at any particular time & place - what is normal here & now would be abnormal there & then. Perhaps the word you want is 'natural'? But how to know what that might be?

Maybe 'abnormal' is not the right word. Things have defintely changed with society where now it is acceptable to do something but a while back it wasn't. For example: Interracial relationship between blacks and whites. Interracial relationship with a Chinese national and a foreigner. Gay marriage, etc. What are some examples of things that are considered 'normal' which is now in your opinion considered 'abnormal'?

One thing that used to be considered 'normal' was slavery.
Definition of 'race', 'racial' etc. would be good but we don't need to go into it here.

Good word - acceptable - in time becomes the norm.

1- Mispelling words on purpose - dumbing down of society - mostly because of computers - lazyness - Dunno = I don't Know - Cuz - Because

2 - Apathy - People just dont care any more - think complaining is the same as caring - so many people I see are so alone and have no one to talk to - will spill out their entire lives to anyone who will take a moment to listen out of desperation.

3 - Greed is now acceptable and normal - if one is Not greedy then there is something wrong with them.

To me these things are abnormal:
Pedophilia
Beastiality
Incest (you can engage in this without really knowing.)
That being said, in many cultures from the past and even now, it's not considered abnormal.

HFCampo-who-will-not-respond-to-this; your '3.' has been more deeply entrenched thanks to capitalism, though of course it's nothing new.

@Alien Very true. It was common practice in bibilical times. Heck Lot fucked his daughters! ha..ha. (If you believe in the bible).

Again, many cultures today define incest differently. Cross-cousin marriage is the norm in many societies today, and in many others it is the ideal - other societies, no. Is it incest or isn't it? Depends on local definition.
